BAMBOO PUER, 2008

3.5 oz
$35.00

DESCRIPTION

  • Bamboo Puer, also known as Bamboo Ripe Puer, is a unique and traditional style of fermented tea that originates from Yunnan, China. This tea is made by packing high-quality ripe Puer tea leaves into the hollow center of a bamboo stem, which is then roasted over an open fire.

  • The roasting process imparts a subtle smoky flavor and aroma to the tea, while the bamboo helps to regulate the temperature and humidity of the tea during the aging process. This results in a rich and complex flavor profile that is characteristic of Puer tea.

  • The bamboo used in the production of Bamboo Puer is carefully selected for its size and quality. The stem is then cut to the desired length, and the inner pith is removed to create a hollow tube. The Puer tea leaves are then packed tightly into the bamboo tube, which is sealed with bamboo leaves and roasted over an open fire for several hours.

  • The roasting process not only adds flavor to the tea but also helps to further ferment and age the Puer tea. As a result, Bamboo Puer has a smooth and mellow taste with earthy and woody undertones.

  • To prepare Bamboo Puer, the bamboo tube is broken open, and the tea leaves are brewed in hot water. The resulting brew has a deep, rich color and a smooth and complex flavor.
