ORGANIC SENCHA

DESCRIPTION

• Sencha is a traditional Japanese green tea that is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, which are grown under full sunlight. It is the most popular and widely consumed variety of green tea in Japan and is also popular around the world.

• It requires painstaking processing to obtain dark green, flat leaves of uniform size, with a fresh, grassy aroma and a delicate taste.

• Sencha is known for its distinctive grassy flavor and refreshing aroma. The leaves are harvested in the spring and summer and are quickly steamed to stop the oxidation process before they are rolled and dried. This process helps to preserve the delicate flavor and nutritional content of the tea.
