LU'AN GUA PIAN

DESCRIPTION

• Lu'An Gua Pian is a type of Chinese green tea that is known for its unique appearance and flavor. It is produced in Lu'An city in Anhui province, China, and is sometimes referred to as "Melon Seed" tea due to its flat, oval-shaped leaves that resemble the seeds of a melon.

• The tea is made using only the second leaf of the tea plant, which is believed to give the tea a smoother and sweeter flavor than other green teas.

• This tea comes from large and mature leaves that are rolled giving them a distinctive oval shape. It has a unique velvety texture and a tastes that is slightly sweet and buttery with an herbaceous finish.
