DESCRIPTION

• An exceptional tea from wild Assamica tea fields located in the Shan region of Burma/Myanmar on the border of China.

• This Burmese black tea is harvested by hand and processed using traditional methods, which can help to bring out the unique flavor profile of the tea. The tea is typically oxidized for a longer period of time than other types of black tea, which can contribute to its bold and robust flavor.

• While wild black tea from Burma is not widely available outside of the country, there are some producers who are beginning to export their tea to other markets. These teas are often produced in small quantities and can be difficult to find, but they offer a unique and high-quality tea experience for those who are able to try them. After many trips to Burma, we are grateful for our connection with a tea farmer there who supplies us with this special offering.
