DESCRIPTION

  • Genmaicha, also known as Toasted Rice Green Tea, is a popular Japanese green tea that is made by blending sencha green tea leaves with roasted brown rice.

  • The unique flavor of genmaicha comes from the nutty and slightly sweet taste of the roasted rice, which complements the grassy flavor of the green tea. This tea has a golden color and a distinctive aroma that many people find very appealing.

    PREPARATION

    • Add 1 Tbsp of tea to 12-oz of 85 degree Celsius water, and steep for 1 minute. Multiple infusions.
    • For an extra boost, add 1 teaspoon of Matcha and 1 Tbsp of Genmaicha to 85 degree Celsisu water, and steep for 1 minute. Multiple infusions.
